Acetone (C₃H₆O) is a clear, colourless and fast-evaporating organic solvent widely used in industrial and professional applications. Thanks to its strong solvent properties, it is commonly used for surface cleaning and degreasing, as well as for thinning or dissolving paints, coatings, resins, adhesives and various organic materials. Acetone is also used in chemical manufacturing, extraction processes and as a processing solvent in a range of industrial applications.

IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove contaminated clothing immediately and rinse the skin thoroughly with water. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do, and continue rinsing. If irritation persists or you feel unwell, seek medical advice or contact a POISON CENTER.
