About the product

Biocide fuel additive BIOCID 71 is used to protect diesel fuel and technical products from the growth of harmful organisms (bacteria, yeast and spores).

- Stops and prevents the formation of micro-biological sludge in diesel fuel tanks
- Protects against filter clogging, fuel system damage and corrosion
- Stable at high to low temperatures
- Designed for disinfection of all gas oil storage tanks

Technical parameters

Active substance 99% 3,3'-methylenebis [5-methyloxazolidine]

The active substance is soluble in water and diesel fuel

Effective against bacteria, yeast and mold

Does not contain heavy metals

Does not contain sulfur

Halogen-free (Germany: Federal Emission Control Act) does not crystallize at temperatures down to -43 °C, transparent liquid (easy to pump), BPR approved (European Union Biocidal Products Regulation).

Use of fuel biocide additive BIOCID 71:

- Shock dose: 0.5-1.0 l / 1000 L of diesel fuel (400-800 ppm).

- Continuous dose for prevention: 0.2-0.50 L / 1000 l of diesel fuel (160-400 ppm).

- Prevention: 0.05-0.20 l BIOCID 71 / 1000 L of diesel fuel (40-160 ppm) every time the tank is filled.

The effect in the fuel depends on the concentration of the fuel biocide additive:

- 1L per 1000L DD - ~12 hours

- 0.5L per 1000L DD - ~12-18 hours

- 0.2L per 1000L DD - ~24–30 hours

- 0.05L per 1000L DD - ~48 hours

The level of fuel contamination can be determined in the laboratory.
