The SIBUSO NVCL 1500 L is a stationary double-walled diesel fuel storage and dispensing tank suitable for companies, agricultural holdings, transport and logistics businesses, construction and equipment rental companies, manufacturing facilities, service workshops and other professional workplaces requiring regular refuelling of their own machinery and vehicles.
Its 1,500-litre capacity allows a compact internal-use fuel dispensing point to be established on company or farm premises. This helps reduce machinery journeys to public filling stations, save working time and organise diesel fuel stock and consumption monitoring in one location.
The SIBUSO NVCL 1500 L is suitable for refuelling tractors, combine harvesters, excavators, loaders, trucks, generators, forklifts, road maintenance machinery, forestry equipment, construction machinery and other diesel-powered equipment.
The tank is intended for the storage and dispensing of diesel fuel. It must not be used for petrol, AdBlue®, water, food-grade liquids or other substances for which the tank and its dispensing equipment have not been designed.
Double-Walled Construction
The SIBUSO NVCL 1500 L has a double-walled construction. The inner tank is intended for diesel fuel storage, while the outer wall acts as a protective containment layer and helps restrict the spread of liquid if the inner tank is damaged or develops a leak.
The tank body is manufactured from high-quality polyethylene. The material does not corrode and is resistant to mechanical damage, changing weather conditions and ultraviolet radiation. The seamless polyethylene construction is suitable for long-term outdoor use when the installation and operating requirements are observed.
The double-walled construction does not replace correct installation, regular technical inspection and prompt repair of any damage. Before use, ensure that the tank body, connections and leak monitoring system are in proper working condition.
Integrated Dispensing Cabinet
A spacious dispensing equipment cabinet with closable red doors is integrated into the front of the tank. The cabinet contains the diesel pump, flow meter, filter, filling connection, automatic nozzle, hose and other system components.
The cabinet helps protect the dispensing equipment from precipitation, ultraviolet radiation, dirt and accidental mechanical damage. It also provides convenient access to the equipment during refuelling, maintenance and inspection.
After use, the nozzle and hose must be returned to their designated positions and the cabinet doors must be closed.
Filling Line with VK50 Connection
The NVCL version is equipped with a tank filling line located inside the dispensing cabinet at a convenient working height. The line has a 2-inch VK50 connection for connecting the fuel delivery vehicle hose.
Locating the filling connection inside the cabinet allows the tank to be filled from ground level without using a ladder or opening a filler point on top of the tank. The closed connection helps reduce the risk of accidental fuel spillage and environmental contamination.
Before filling the tank, inspect the connection, filling line and overfill protection system. The entire filling operation must be supervised.
Electronic Overfill Protection
The tank is equipped with an electronic overfill sensor. The system monitors the fuel level while the tank is being filled and helps reduce the risk of overfilling.
Electronic overfill protection does not remove the responsibility of the operator and fuel supplier to supervise the filling process. Before filling, ensure that the sensor is correctly connected, undamaged and operating in accordance with the instructions.
ROTAxx 60 Electric Pump
The SIBUSO NVCL 1500 L is equipped with a self-priming ROTAxx 60 rotary vane electric pump. The pump operates from a 230 V, 50 Hz power supply, has a rated power of 370 W and draws approximately 2.6 A.
The maximum delivery rate is up to 60 litres per minute. The pump is suitable for continuous operation, incorporates an integrated bypass and provides a maximum delivery head of up to 5 metres.
Its self-priming design means the pump does not have to be manually filled with fuel before operation. The actual delivery rate may vary depending on fuel temperature and viscosity, filter condition, hose arrangement, resistance within the receiving system and other operating conditions.
Before switching on the pump, ensure that the pump, electrical connection, hose, filter and all fittings are in proper working condition. The electrical installation must be completed by a suitably qualified professional.
Emergency Power Switch
An emergency power switch is integrated into the pump system, allowing pump operation to be stopped quickly and safely in an emergency.
After a power failure, the pump does not restart automatically. The green start button must be pressed manually before the system can resume operation. This helps prevent uncontrolled pump activation when power is restored.
FMT Digital Flow Meter
The tank is equipped with an FMT digital rotary flow meter for monitoring and recording the amount of diesel fuel dispensed.
The meter operates within a flow range of 2 to 100 litres per minute and has a stated measurement accuracy of ±0.5%. Its digital display can show the amount delivered during the current refuelling operation, a resettable subtotal and the total amount dispensed.
The flow meter is particularly useful for companies that need to monitor machinery fuel consumption, compare use across different sites or control internal fuel distribution.
Where meter data is used for official billing or regulated accounting, the applicable metrological requirements must be checked separately.
Diesel Fuel Filter
The dispensing system includes a 10-micron diesel fuel filter with a metal housing. The filter helps retain mechanical contamination and protect the fuel system of the machinery being refuelled.
The filter element must be inspected regularly and replaced according to its condition, the amount of fuel dispensed and the applicable maintenance instructions. A blocked filter may reduce the delivery rate and increase the load on the pump.
Six-Metre Dispensing Hose
The SIBUSO NVCL 1500 L is equipped with an approximately 6-metre flexible diesel fuel dispensing hose. The hose is resistant to petroleum products and suitable for operation at temperatures from approximately −25 °C to +80 °C.
The six-metre length provides convenient access to the fuel tank of a vehicle or machine even when it cannot be positioned immediately beside the dispensing cabinet.
The hose must not be used for pulling the tank or equipment. After use, it must be placed in its designated holder without sharp bends, crushing or contact with sharp edges.
Automatic Dispensing Nozzle
The equipment includes an automatic diesel fuel dispensing nozzle. Its automatic shut-off function helps stop fuel delivery when the level in the receiving tank reaches the nozzle shut-off point.
The automatic shut-off function helps reduce the risk of overfilling and diesel fuel spillage, but the dispensing process must always be supervised. The nozzle must not be left operating unattended.
After refuelling, the nozzle must be placed in its holder inside the dispensing cabinet.
Fuel Level Indicator
The tank is equipped with a mechanical dial-type fuel level indicator. It allows the approximate amount of diesel fuel remaining in the tank to be assessed visually.
The level indicator provides an approximate reading. The FMT digital flow meter should be used to monitor the quantity of fuel dispensed.
Ventilation System and Earthing Connection
The tank has a two-way ventilation valve that provides air exchange and helps prevent excessive pressure or vacuum from developing during filling and dispensing.
An earthing connection terminal is integrated into the construction. Before operation, the tank must be properly earthed in accordance with electrical, fire safety and operating requirements to assist in dissipating electrostatic charge.
Earthing and power supply connections must be installed by a suitably qualified professional.
Leak Sensor
A leak monitoring system is installed between the inner and outer walls of the tank. The sensor helps detect liquid entering the space between the two walls.
If a leak warning is activated, fuel dispensing and tank filling must be stopped immediately. The tank must not be used again until the cause has been identified and a technical inspection has been completed.
600 mm Inspection Hatch
The inner tank is equipped with an approximately 600 mm inspection hatch. It provides access to the tank interior for inspection, maintenance and cleaning.
Internal inspection and cleaning may only be carried out by appropriately trained personnel observing all safety requirements associated with confined spaces and fuel vapours. No person may enter the tank without a suitable procedure and protective equipment.
