Demineralized water (4L)

Demineralized water is produced using a double reverse osmosis process that removes more than 97% of the dissolved minerals, salts and ions from the water.  The product is suitable for a wide range of technical and household applications, including: steam irons; garment steamers; humidifiers; automatic floor cleaning devices; window cleaning robots; other appliances approved by their manufacturer for use with demineralized water.

Suitable for steam irons and garment steamers

Compared with hard tap water, demineralized water contains significantly lower levels of minerals and salts. This helps reduce the formation of mineral deposits and limescale in the water tank, steam channels and steam vents. Regular use of demineralized water may help to: maintain a more consistent steam output; reduce the risk of clogged steam vents; minimise mineral deposit build-up inside the appliance; simplify the maintenance of steam irons and steam systems; help preserve the appliance’s performance over time.

Demineralized water is particularly beneficial in areas where tap water has a high mineral content and is considered hard water.

Directions for use in steam irons

Fill the appliance’s water tank according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Some appliances are designed for use with demineralized water, while others require tap water or a mixture of both. Always refer to the user manual of your specific appliance before use.
