DESO 1340L AdBlue® storage and dispensing tank

The DESO 1340 L is a double-walled stationary AdBlue® storage and dispensing tank designed for the storage and controlled distribution of AdBlue®. The tank is manufactured as a bunded system, providing an additional containment layer around the inner tank in the event of a leak. The construction is designed for professional use and is resistant to mechanical impact, changing weather conditions and UV exposure.

The DESO 1340 L combines AdBlue® storage and dispensing equipment in one stationary system. The tank has a nominal capacity of 1,340 litres and is intended for locations where AdBlue® needs to be stored on site and dispensed directly to vehicles or equipment equipped with SCR systems.

The specific CC-Market configuration is equipped with a 230 V electric pump with a stated maximum delivery rate of 40 litres per minute. The pump forms part of the integrated AdBlue® dispensing system and transfers the liquid from the storage tank through the dispensing hose to the receiving AdBlue® tank.

The dispensing system includes a flow meter with a stated measurement accuracy of 1%. This allows the quantity of dispensed AdBlue® to be monitored during operation.

AdBlue® is dispensed through a 6-metre delivery hose and an automatic dispensing nozzle with a dedicated holder. The hose provides a practical working distance between the stationary storage tank and the vehicle or equipment being refilled.

The tank is equipped with a float-type level indicator, allowing the operator to monitor the liquid level inside the storage tank. This provides a direct indication of the remaining AdBlue® level.

The DESO 1340 L configuration also includes heating elements. These form part of the equipment package specified for this tank and are intended to support operation in conditions where protection of the AdBlue® storage system from low temperatures is required.

The double-walled construction provides secondary containment around the inner AdBlue® tank. According to DESO, its AdBlue® tanks are designed as dedicated storage solutions for this fluid and are manufactured from rotationally moulded polyethylene.

The tank is intended for stationary installation. Its 1,340-litre capacity provides an on-site AdBlue® reserve for operations where regular refilling of SCR-equipped vehicles or machinery is required.

The stated gross and net weight of the DESO 1340 L tank is approximately 125 kg. The complete installation and operation of the tank must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and the requirements applicable to AdBlue® storage and dispensing.

The tank and dispensing system are intended specifically for AdBlue®. The use of equipment compatible with AdBlue® is essential to avoid contamination of the fluid.

The tank warranty is stated as 120 months, while the dispensing equipment warranty is stated as 12 months.
