Demineralized water is produced using a double reverse osmosis process that removes more than 97% of the dissolved minerals, salts and ions from the water. The product is suitable for a wide range of technical and household applications, including: steam irons; garment steamers; humidifiers; automatic floor cleaning devices; window cleaning robots; other appliances approved by their manufacturer for use with demineralized water.

Compared with hard tap water, demineralized water contains significantly lower levels of minerals and salts. This helps reduce the formation of mineral deposits and limescale in the water tank, steam channels and steam vents.
