Kingspan TruckMaster 200L 12V Portable Diesel Storage and Dispensing tank

The Kingspan TruckMaster 200 L is a compact portable diesel fuel transport and dispensing tank designed to deliver fuel directly to machinery and vehicles in locations where stationary refuelling infrastructure is not available. It is particularly suitable for construction, agriculture, forestry, grounds maintenance, service operations and other professional working environments where transporting machinery to a conventional filling station would be time-consuming or impractical. Its 200-litre capacity provides a practical supply of diesel for daily operations while keeping the unit compact enough for transport in a suitable vehicle.

The TruckMaster body is manufactured from durable rotationally moulded polyethylene designed for professional use and providing good resistance to impacts, changing weather conditions and UV exposure. The one-piece polyethylene construction minimises joints and welded seams that could otherwise become potential leakage points during prolonged use. The design also keeps the dispensing equipment protected during transport while allowing convenient access when refuelling machinery on site.

The TruckMaster 200 L is equipped with a 12 V electric diesel pump, automatic dispensing nozzle and fuel delivery hose, allowing diesel to be transferred directly from the tank into the fuel tank of the machinery being refuelled. The configuration currently specified by CC-Market includes a PIUSI 12 V electric pump, a 6-metre power cable with battery clamps and a 3.7-metre fuel delivery hose. Operation from a 12 V power source allows the dispensing system to be used at remote worksites by connecting the pump to a suitable vehicle battery or other compatible 12 V power supply.

The automatic dispensing nozzle helps control the refuelling process and stops fuel delivery when the fuel level in the receiving tank reaches the automatic shut-off point of the nozzle. Even when an automatic nozzle is used, the refuelling process must always be supervised by the operator and the nozzle must never be left unattended. The length of the delivery hose provides convenient access to machinery even when the TruckMaster cannot be positioned immediately next to the vehicle or equipment being refuelled.

The tank incorporates a vacuum and pressure relief ventilation system to help equalise internal pressure during filling and fuel dispensing. The fuel withdrawal system includes a suction pipe with a mesh filter, helping reduce the risk of larger mechanical contaminants entering the pump and fuel delivery system. A secured lid protects the dispensing equipment during transportation and storage, while the compact construction makes efficient use of cargo space.

The Kingspan TruckMaster 200 L measures approximately 600 mm in length, 800 mm in width and 620 mm in height, with an empty weight of approximately 33 kg. Kingspan states that the 200 and 300 litre TruckMaster models occupy approximately half the footprint of a Euro pallet, making them suitable for applications where efficient use of transport space is important. A fully filled 200-litre tank will be considerably heavier than its empty weight, and the total loaded weight must therefore be considered when lifting, loading, securing or transporting the unit.

The TruckMaster 200 L is intended for diesel fuel. It must not be used for petrol, AdBlue®, water or other liquids unless the manufacturer supplies a version specifically designed for the relevant medium. Before use, the tank body, dispensing hose, automatic nozzle, electrical cable and all connections should be inspected for visible damage or signs of leakage.

During use, the tank must be positioned securely, the pump connected to a suitable 12 V power source and the dispensing nozzle correctly inserted into the fuel tank of the machinery being refuelled. The operator must supervise the tank, hose and nozzle throughout the refuelling process. After dispensing, the pump must be switched off, the electrical connection disconnected in accordance with the operating instructions and the hose and nozzle returned to their designated storage position. Any spilled diesel must be collected immediately using suitable absorbent material. The tank must not be operated near open flames, sparks or other ignition sources, and smoking is prohibited during refuelling.

Kingspan's official documentation states that the 200 and 300 litre TruckMaster models do not require the same ADR approval as the larger 430 and 900 litre TruckMaster models due to their smaller capacity. This should not be interpreted as a general exemption from all requirements applicable to the transportation of diesel fuel. The operator and carrier remain responsible for compliance with all applicable transport, load-securing, workplace safety, fire safety and environmental protection requirements in the relevant jurisdiction and operating situation.

During transport, the TruckMaster 200 L must be secured so that it cannot slide, overturn or collide with other objects in the cargo area. The lid must be closed and secured, the dispensing nozzle and hose must be safely stored, and the electrical cable must be protected against mechanical damage. All regulations applicable to diesel fuel transportation and on-site refuelling must be observed.
